Who is Doodle, you ask? Doodle is one of the four lambs (sheep) who make up the McLamby family. He lives in the Northern Highlands of Scotland, and this is his blog. That's right; life from a lamb's point of view. Doodle, and his brother Snowball, were orphaned lambs and raised on bottles...first in the garage and backyard of their people ("Dad" and "Mom")...then out in the big field with their "Uncles" Rosebud and Shermy, two big Cheviot sheep who are also...er...pet sheep. Sometimes it's just fine for someone to have no other purpose in life but to live and be one of God's creatures. That's Doodle, Snowball, Rosebud, and Shermy. Welcome to their world!

On the Playground, and The Head Pushing Game

Lots of times when we were little, Mom or Dad would sit with us on the playground.  We would run around, or try to eat stuff (like rocks), or take naps in the sunshine.  Here's Dad.  He has playground duty!  Lucky Dad!

We went around 'sploring by ourselves lots of times.  Or playing lamb games.  Or looking for leaves to eat.  But sometimes we wanted Mom or Dad to play with us.  It was easy to get them to.  We just looked cute, and Snowball would poke at them with his pointy nose.

Here we are playing the "Head Pushing Game" with Dad!  I love this game.  We practice pushing at things with our hard heads.  It's so much fun.  We would play it with each other, too... and even run at each other a bounce our heads off the other one... a little.

Now that we're almost 11 months old, we still play the "Head Pushing Game"!  And we even play it with Uncle Rosebud and Uncle Shermy.  I tried to play it with Mom the other day, but I think I might have been too strong for her now.  I'm a big Doodle!
