Who is Doodle, you ask? Doodle is one of the four lambs (sheep) who make up the McLamby family. He lives in the Northern Highlands of Scotland, and this is his blog. That's right; life from a lamb's point of view. Doodle, and his brother Snowball, were orphaned lambs and raised on bottles...first in the garage and backyard of their people ("Dad" and "Mom")...then out in the big field with their "Uncles" Rosebud and Shermy, two big Cheviot sheep who are also...er...pet sheep. Sometimes it's just fine for someone to have no other purpose in life but to live and be one of God's creatures. That's Doodle, Snowball, Rosebud, and Shermy. Welcome to their world!

Doin' Stuff

Mom and Dad do stuff with us every day.  Well... sometimes it's raining really hard, or something happens that we can't spend lots of time together.  But mostly, we do.  And it's fun.  Mom and Dad take us places and play with us!

We like to go for walks and to go 'sploring.  We've been doing this since we were just little, and the Uncles come with us, too.

Am I close enough?  How's this for a close-up portrait?  Do you want me to come closer?

Here we are, eating thistles and nettles.  They are sharp and pricky, and we have to be careful eating them, but they are very yummy!

Dad is calling!  Maybe he has cookies!  Here we are running straight for him.

Snowball the Rocket is in front, as usual.  But I think I make a fine figure, jumping and leaping just behind him.

What do you think?
