Who is Doodle, you ask? Doodle is one of the four lambs (sheep) who make up the McLamby family. He lives in the Northern Highlands of Scotland, and this is his blog. That's right; life from a lamb's point of view. Doodle, and his brother Snowball, were orphaned lambs and raised on bottles...first in the garage and backyard of their people ("Dad" and "Mom")...then out in the big field with their "Uncles" Rosebud and Shermy, two big Cheviot sheep who are also...er...pet sheep. Sometimes it's just fine for someone to have no other purpose in life but to live and be one of God's creatures. That's Doodle, Snowball, Rosebud, and Shermy. Welcome to their world!

Pensive Portraits

Here we see Uncle Shermy giving us his regal portrait pose.  Notice his distinguished Roman nose.  And his very thoughtful expression.  He has intelligent eyes, too (when they are not bugged out because he got scared).  Uncle Shermy is pretty much always a good lamb with a mild manner (except when he is butting Snowball or trying to steal cookies right out of Mom's pocket).

And then there's Uncle Bud.

He is always a good lamb, too.  Here he is, posing, and MAKING A POINT.  He wants to make sure Mom and Dad see that his dinner table is upside down.  Silly Uncle Bud.

It is Springtime and the baby lambs have started arriving around the neighborhood.  They are cute and bouncy and sweet.  We have to make sure the old guys don't get slighted at this time of year!
